WHEN DESTINATIONS ARE TOO FAMILIAR! THERE IS AZAMARA!

It is always a problem if you are a regular cruiser, especially if you like a particular Cruise line as eventually you find you have been there, done that and got the T-shirt so to speak, sometimes several times over.

That’s why it always exciting when a cruise line ventures to new destinations or offers new exciting experiences for you to try.

That is exactly what Azamara Club Cruises are doing for 2020.

They have just unveiled their exciting 2020 itineraries, which in their words will be…

‘Featuring new immersive land excursions and maiden voyages to destinations including South Africa, French Polynesia and Hawaii’.

The trips have been put together thoughtfully with a big emphasis on spending more time in port, which in turn allows you to travel further and explore beyond the ports themselves to what else the country has on offer and in doing so immerse yourself in the destination, the culture and the people.

Running along side the new ports of call and extra time in port will be a selection of Land and Sea packages hosted by Micato Safaris, who offer luxury Safari products which will further enhance the experience on offer.

Azamara Club Cruises has been going from strength to strength over the past few years and I for one have a number of devoted customers to the product. With the Advent of the brand New Azamara Pursuit to the fleet, this means Azamara can offer even more choice to its dedicated guests.

Here are some of the highlights you can look forward to for 2020

South Africa, the African Continent and the South Pacific

This will be the first time the Cruise line has operated to South Africa and the African Continent.  Each cruise will bring opportunities to visit something unique for example to experience the Zulu Culture, to Visit South Africa’s Wine region (This would be a highlight for me) or to do a land tour like the Five Night Kruger to Cape Safari, visiting one of the most famous Game Reserves in South Africa

or the 5 Night Wild Wonders of the World, visiting the breathtaking Victoria falls.

There are also lots of other amazing or should I say AzAmazing! Things to see like joining a Marine Biologist in French Polynesia, to learn about the ecology of the islands or having an underwater adventure in Hawaii or even visiting the mighty Mt Kilimanjaro in Kenya and so much more….

In addition there will be some Specialty Voyages where you can experience what may be a one off event, making the voyage extra special.

These include for the first time ever, the meeting of the Three ships. Azamara’s three sister ships will meet on October 8, 2020 in Koper, Slovenia, where the cruise line will host a grand AzAmazing Evening in port for all guests on all three ships, and then sail together to Venice.

There will be special celebrations on the Christmas cruises and on February 20, 2020, the Azamara Quest will be embarking on the second World Journey from Cape Town to Southampton.

There really is so much going on in 2020.

Lastly but by no means least a new Stateroom category will be launched.

Called Veranda Plus.

Azamara have said ‘The new accommodation will have the same dimensions and features as a regular Veranda stateroom, for a slightly higher cost, but include additional benefits such as: internet minutes, one night of specialty dining, priority embarkation and more. All of these amenities have been built into the price, which will provide value for the guests.’

I am sure if you are an Azamara fan these new itineraries and options will already have you excited and who knows what will be coming next.

If you have not been with Azamara before don’t take my word for it why not read some of the reviews on our site and decide whether you think this might me for you.
