Escape to “Haven” with Norwegian Cruise Line.

Next year is an exciting one in the cruise world with the launch of some amazing new ships. In previous blogs I’ve looked at Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas and last week I looked at Britannia, P&O’s next addition to the fleet.

This week I have been taking a look at Norwegian Cruise Lines next new ship…Escape! I have to say I have been very impressed and having cruised with Norwegian on a few occasions I’m very excited at the prospect of a Breakaway Plus Class ship!  My first cruise was on board the Jade, I loved the relaxed feel on board and I loved that there were so many different dining options.

My next experience was on the Epic, not long enough really just a short 2 night cruise but enough to like what I saw. I especially loved the look of the Haven..unique to Norwegian…an exclusive area with some of the most beautiful suites and private areas on board.

Norwegian Escape, a huge superliner joining the fleet, a giant 163,000 tons carrying 4200 passengers will sail in October 2015 from Miami and  I’m sure will create huge interest and excitement for next year for NCL.

One of the most impressive areas on board the Escape is going to be the expanded Haven. If ever there was a time I was going to treat myself on board a cruise I would love to experience one of the Haven Suites. On ship visits in the past with Norwegian I have been able to take a look at the Haven suites and they are some of the most impressive suites I have seen. The Haven area on board the Escape will be spread over 2 decks and is exclusive for those guests lucky enough to be booked into the Haven accommodation.

Escape will feature an expanded Haven, this will have 55 suites!  Take a look at this Deluxe Owners suite…what do you think? I think I would stay here…a huge 1300 sq ft and 2 balconies..wow!

There will also be 14 Spa Suites for those wanting to make the most of the Spa facilities on board, these suites will be close to the Thermal Spa. There will be the spa treatment rooms, sauna and the 2 whirlpools. Total luxury and your very own exclusive spa area on board.

In the Haven area there will be your own private courtyard with a pool and retractable roof which looks amazing. Not to forget the private restaurant and outdoor terrace, and the lounge for your evening cocktails..I love the idea of having such an exclusive and private area on such a huge cruise ship. As Norwegian say themselves it’s a ship within a ship.

Alongside this amazing accommodation and your exclusive facilities you will be treated like a VIP with your own very own butler, sound like heaven…it certainly does to me!
