Universal Orlando Resort has revealed details of its highly anticipated new theme park, Universal Epic Universe!
Due to open to the adoring public in 2025, the Universal Epic Universe complex will be home to five ‘worlds’, featuring more than 50 dining, entertainment, and shopping experiences for big and little kids to dive into.
The five worlds include:
– Celestial Park: a lush, sprawling area inspired by astronomy and mythology
– Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic: a whimsical site combining the iconic Ministry of Magic seen in the Harry Potter series and wizarding Paris from the Fantastic Beasts films
– Super Nintendo World: a Nintendo-themed featuring beloved characters Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and Donkey Kong
– How To Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk: a space based on the How To Train Your Dragon franchise bursting with imagination and Vikings
– Dark Universe: an intriguing landscape where mystery, monsters and Dr Victoria Frankenstein’s experiments roam
Universal says that Celestial Park will serve as the gateway to the four other worlds that make up Epic Universe. It will be a green oasis with strolling pathways, gardens, and seven acres of waterways and water displays, offering guests a relaxing and unwinding experience. The space will feature a variety of eateries, ranging from full-service restaurants like the Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant to quick-service spots such as Pizza Moon. Retail shops, including the Nintendo Super Star Store and Moonship Chocolates & Celestial Sweets, will also be available.
The highlight of Celestial Park is its impressive collection of roller coasters and entertainment areas. This includes the dual-launch racing coaster Starfall Racers, reaching speeds of up to 62mph along a 5,000ft track, the fantastical gliding and spiralling ride Constellation Carousel, and Astronomica, a delightful wet-play space adorned with fountains that also double as a giant compass.
Further details about Universal Epic Universe’s four other worlds, and more information about the park’s interactive preview centre, will be announced by Universal later this year.
Alongside the fresh theme parks, a trio of new hotels are also due to open at Universal Epic Universe, namely the Universal Helios Grand Hotel, Universal Stella Nova Resort, and Universal Terra Luna Resort. All three hotels are also due to open in 2025.
