Our All-You-Need-To-Know Guide To Norwegian Cruise Line’s The Haven

On Norwegian Cruise Line ships, you can enjoy a freestyle cruising approach, with a laid-back ambience alongside an incredible range of family entertainment and activities. However, if you love a bit of luxury too, seek out Norwegian Cruise Line’s The Haven.

Read on below as we share all you need to know about The Haven by Norwegian Cruise Line, exploring how guests can enjoy the perfect balance of fantastic fun and indulgence without ever feeling you’re missing out on the very best in cruise experiences.

What is The Haven on Norwegian Cruise Line?

Pioneering the ship-within-ship concept, Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) was the first to introduce the feature of an exclusive all-suite quarter with a private sun deck and pool facilities.

The concept evolved into The Haven, where guests can now enjoy the opulence of first-class accommodation, exclusive dining and other luxury benefits accessed via their Haven-specific platinum keycard while still enjoying the wide-ranging facilities and entertainment on an NCL ship. Although the Haven is not an adults-only facility, there are areas, such as the Haven Sundeck, which are reserved for guests of 16 years and over.

Which Norwegian ship has the best Haven?

The Haven by Norwegian Cruise Line can be found on the following ships:

Norwegian Prima, Norwegian Viva, Norwegian Bliss, Norwegian Escape, Norwegian Encore, Norwegian Joy, Norwegian Getaway, Norwegian Breakaway, Norwegian Epic, Norwegian Gem, Norwegian Jade, Norwegian Jewel, and Norwegian Pearl.

If you are seeking the Norwegian ship with the best Haven, its Prima-class ships, Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva, arguably are where you’ll find it. As NCL’s newest ships, they have the most innovative features, including an infinity pool located in the prime position at the rear of the vessel and a larger restaurant, perfect for special events.

The Prima-class ships have also been designed to offer more space per cruise guest and higher crew-to-guest ratios. Furthermore, many cruise guests enjoy having all the Haven suites together when sailing on Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva, adding to that ship-within-a-ship feel.

What is included in a Haven suite?

Suites within Norwegian Cruise Line’s The Haven are designed to offer you the utmost luxury, more space and outstanding amenities. There are nine options of stateroom to choose from, ranging from the Spa Suite with Balcony (378 sq. ft.) that sleeps two guests up to the 3-Bedroom Garden Villa (6,694 sq. ft.) that can accommodate eight.

In your suite, a 24-hour, fully-trained butler will await to unpack your suitcases, pour champagne, and serve your meal, if you opt for white tablecloth in-suite dining. You’ll also have access to an in-suite minibar and a deluxe coffee machine.

All suites have a contemporary design, many with a king-sized bed, large living and dining areas or a separate room for the children, one or more baths and a balcony. Other plans have been designed to have a cosy feel, such as the Spa Suite, which is still beautifully decorated and comes with its own hot tub, waterfall shower and multiple body spray jets.

You may want to savour every moment on board, but sleeping can be irresistible in your Haven suite with a Bliss Collection pillow-top mattress, feather duvet and pillow menu. Relaxing in-suite is also a joy with plush bathrobes, slippers and luxury bathroom products.

Delightful dining at The Haven by Norwegian Cruise Line
