Our all-you-need-to-know guide to MSC Yacht Club

MSC Cruises provide a delightful balance of cruise holiday tradition with immersive experiences that offer highly acclaimed entertainment, cosmopolitan dining and cutting-edge technology. Choose a cruise holiday with them, and you’ll be sure to have an unforgettably wonderful experience, even more so if you opt for their MSC Yacht Club package.

Described as a ship within a ship, MSC Yacht Club provides the exclusivity of a private luxury club alongside the multitude of benefits of travelling on a world-class cruise ship. Below, we share our ultimate guide on everything you need to know about it.

Which MSC cruise ships offer MSC Yacht Club?

You can currently find MSC Yacht Club on 13 of its 19 ships. These are MSC Bellissima, MSC Divina, MSC Fantasia, MSC Grandiosa, MSC Meraviglia, MSC Preziosa, MSC Seascape, MSC Seashore, MSC Seaside, MSC Seaview, MSC Splendida, MSC Virtuosa and MSC World Europa.

MSC Yacht Club suites: Luxuriate in pure comfort

The MSC Yacht Club suites are located at the ships’ foredecks and offer a range of exceptional amenities, no matter which cabin category you choose. For example, the luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets, memory foam mattresses, and a choice of pillows offer impeccable comfort to ensure an excellent night’s sleep.

Every suite has a complimentary mini-bar and a 24-hour butler ready to attend to your wishes, including helping with embarkation, disembarkation and luggage. You’ll also have a widescreen TV in your room, meaning you can kick back and enjoy your own movie night whenever you choose.

Suites vary in size, from the top of the range, Owner’s Suite, with a living space of 104 m2 (1,200 ft2) and the opulent Royal Suite at 62m2 (670 ft2) to the more bargain-friendly Interior Suites at 21m2 (226 sq ft), still approximately double that of a standard Interior Cabin.

Other than the Interior Suites, all suites have balconies, which become more extensive according to the room size. Royal Suites also offer a separate lounge, private whirlpool and dining table. However, choose a Duplex with Whirlpool, and you can also enjoy your own hot tub.

Dedicated dining at the MSC Yacht Club restaurant and Top Sail Lounge

MSC Cruise ships have a wide choice of main restaurants and extensive buffets where you can sample dishes from around the world and family favourites to suit every palate. The cruise line also offers gourmet speciality restaurants, serving fine dining food across various cuisines, all of which Yacht Club guests can enjoy.

Staying in MSC Yacht Club, you’ll also have access to the club’s private restaurant, where you can choose from a wide range of dishes on their à la carte menu, alongside an excellent choice of drinks. Serving throughout the day, the restaurant caters for everyone, from the health-conscious to those seeking something a little more indulgent.

The Yacht Club’s private Top Sail Lounge offers a lovely place to relax for your morning coffee, afternoon tea or a snack somewhere in-between. Its large windows provide stunning views while the food is equally beautiful. You can also enjoy live music in the evenings as you sit back to reflect upon the delights of your day.

The One Pool is another area exclusively for MSC Yacht Club guests, with its own pool area, sun deck, hot tubs and pool bar serving drinks and snacks. For those guests seeking a sanctuary for peaceful relaxation, this area offers the perfect spot.

Relax in the MSC Aurea Spa

For MSC Yacht Club guests, access to the Thermal Suite in the MSC Aurea Spa is complimentary. With a sauna, steam room and whirlpool bath, an hour or two here will leave you feeling thoroughly relaxed and rejuvenated.

As well as a range of beauty treatments, the Aurea Spa offers around twenty different massages, including Balinese Massage and aromatherapy, which are available in treatment rooms exclusively for Yacht Club guests.

Concierge services and exclusive experiences

The personalised service is one of the best aspects of the MSC Yacht Club package. Your concierge will book your show tickets and make dinner reservations in the speciality restaurants for you. They will also arrange your onshore excursions or even help you to create your own trip ashore, specially curated for your interests.

Another great perk is the out-of-hours shopping option, where your concierge or butler will arrange for you to browse the stores onboard when everyone else has returned to their cabin. They can even bring the merchandise to your suite for your own private viewing.

Other MSC Yacht Club-exclusive benefits

There are more excellent benefits to travelling as part of the Yacht Club on your MSC cruise, such as:

  • Priority boarding, including departure and return on shore days
  • The Premium Extra Drink Package, which includes all drinks up to €13 throughout the ship
  • The Unlimited Internet Package or ‘Browse’ package for two devices
  • A welcome gift with Prosecco and chocolate
  • In-suite bathrobes and slippers
  • MSC for Me Wristband (on all digital ships) for making purchases, booking services and unlocking your cabin

MSC Yacht Club adds the personal, exclusive element to the large cruise ship experience. You still get to enjoy all the new, exciting features of the mega-style cruise ships but then have a haven of first-class luxury where you can enjoy a bespoke service with that extra time for care and attention.
