Exclusively adults-only cruise line, Virgin Voyages, has confirmed that its long-awaited new cruise ship, Brilliant Lady, will debut in September 2025!
The bold, and distinctly red, cruise ship will be the fourth vessel as part of Virgin Voyages’ fleet of ‘Lady Ships’ including Valiant Lady, Resilient Lady and Scarlet Lady. She’ll be home to the cruise line’s signature chic accommodations and excellent fitness and wellness facilities, plus new dining and entertainment options and a decadent array of swish bars.
Brilliant Lady will also feature a gorgeous new mermaid design on its hull, designed by Toronto-based illustrator Janice Sung.

Virgin Voyages has said that their new ship’s maiden season is set to be chocked full of exciting itineraries, including longer cruises up to 14 nights in length. Brilliant Lady’s inaugural season kicks off in September 2025 from New York City, starting with a collection of MerMaiden voyages, until October 2025, ranging from five to 13 nights in length.
Following these escapes, Brilliant Lady will then venture over to the Caribbean, from October 2025 to April 2026. The new ship’s very first Panama Canal Crossing departs on 21st March 2026, as part of a 16-night repositioning voyage.
