Princess Cruises has revealed that original co-host of Discovery Channel’s series MythBusters and godparent to Discovery Princess, Adam Savage, will host a specially themed cruise onboard the ship in November 2023.
The exclusive sailing will take place from 25th to 29th November this year onboard Discovery Princess, departing from the Port of Los Angeles for a four-day West Coast Getaway to San Diego and Ensenada.
Guests will be able to meet Savage, gain insights about his exciting career through several hosted activities, plus get a behind-the-scenes look at Discovery Princess with Savage as their guide.
As one of the original co-hosts of the Emmy-nominated Discovery series MythBusters, Savage has acquired a diverse range of skills throughout his career, enabling him to transform his imaginative ideas into tangible creations. His professional journey encompasses roles ranging from projectionist, animator, and graphic designer to interior designer, welder, and scenic painter.
As well as this exciting opportunity for guests onboard the themed Discovery Princess sailing, Savage is launching an insightful eight-part video series taking viewers on a fascinating journey through the wonders of Sun Princess, Princess Cruises’ newest addition- set to debut in early 2024. Filmed on the ship itself at Fincantieri shipyard, the series reveals never-before-seen glimpses of areas onboard, such as the ground-breaking Dome and Sphere features.
