Dancing Queens: Silent Discos Introduced Across Cunard Fleet!

Dancing Queens: Silent Discos Introduced Across Cunard Fleet!

Cunard cruise fans can now jump, jive and dance the night away at all-new silent discos being launched across the cruise line’s glamorous fleet of Queens.

Although Cunard is commonly known (and greatly adored) for its impeccable onboard ballroom entertainment, the cruise line’s three ships, soon to be four, are also home to lively nightclubs and late-night venues. These locations will now be home to the new silent disco events available on select evenings.

Silent discos are a relatively modern late-night entertainment experience whereby revellers dance to music that can only be heard through their own personal pair of headphones. Guests can control the volume of the music in their headphones and switch between different channels to dance along to different types of music.

The new nighttime events will be held at the fabulous G32 onboard Queen Mary 2, and the Yacht Clubs on Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria. Cunard have said that its new entertainment offering will mean that it can take usual nightclub entertainment out of main venues and into more unusual locations on board.

Cunard is known for being a pioneer of sophisticated and luxurious travel, but the introduction of silent discos to our nightclub venues reflects our commitment to offering immersive and contemporary experiences for guests.

I’m sure some may be surprised to learn that our ships have nightclubs, let alone silent discos, and this is just one of the many unexpected experiences you’ll now find on a Cunard voyage.
