140-Day Silversea World Cruise To Take Curious Travellers To Fresh Destinations

Silversea Cruises has revealed all the juicy details of its extraordinary 140-day World Cruise, which the cruise line is dubbing as the most “diverse and immersive” sailing in their history.

The “The Curious and the Sea” World Cruise voyage on Silver Dawn will be departing from the popular North American port Fort Lauderdale on 6th January 2026, travelling to more than 37 countries, 70 destinations, of which 26 will be new destinations for Silversea world cruises.

During the itinerary, avid cruisers will be able to explore parts of Central America, South America, Easter Island, French Polynesia, South Pacific, New Zealand, Australia, Southeast Asia, and the Mediterranean before the cruise makes its final call in Lisbon on 27th May 2026.

As part of the 28-day intensive French Polynesia and South Pacific portion of the cruise, Silver Dawn will call at new Silversea World Cruise ports Nuku Hiva and Atuona in the Marquesas Islands; Fakarava, home to a UNESCO-listed biosphere reserve; Tonga’s Nuku’alofa; New Caledonia’s Lifou and Noumea; and Norfolk Island.

In Australia, Silver Dawn will travel from Hobart (Tasmania) and Darwin on a 21-day semi-circumnavigation of Australia, taking guests off-piste along the country’s southern and western coastlines for the very first time on a Silversea World Cruise.

Here, guests will be able to see mesmerising landscapes and intriguing wildlife, including groups of Little Penguins on Phillip Island, Coffin Bay National Park in Port Lincoln, and pink salt lakes in Esperance, also a first for Silversea World Cruises.

Towards the end of The Curious and the Sea sailing, Silver Dawn will call at fascinating North African ports, including La Goulette in Tunisia, home to the bygone eras of the Ancient Carthaginians and a storied port key in international trade connecting Africa with Europe.

Alongside all these intriguing port calls, Silver Dawn’s World Cruise will also host a number of bespoke events for passengers onboard.

Events will be held in French Polynesia, Mystery Island, Bali and Cochin, focusing on local culture, sensational regional food specialities, and traditional dance.

The Curious and The Sea voyage will be hosted in the most sublime comfort and style onboard Silver Dawn, Silversea’s 10th ship launched in 2022. Onboard, this small ship has all-suite accommodation, one of the highest space-to-guest ratios at sea, immersive culinary experiences available via the cruise line’s S.A.L.T. culinary scheme, plus indulgent Otium suite and spa wellness programmes.

As part of the special 2026 World Cruise, menus will change frequently in the S.A.L.T. Kitchen onboard, inspired by regional flavours and the S.A.L.T. Bar will have 70 signature cocktails on offer mirroring visited destinations. Full-world cruise passengers will also be treated to two complimentary S.A.L.T. on-shore experiences and a complimentary treatment as part of the Otium scheme.
