Princess Cruises’ Sapphire Princess is back and looking better than ever! After a two-week drydock in Portland, Oregon, the 115,875-ton ship has received a stylish refresh, including revamped spaces and some mouthwatering new speciality dining options. 

Makoto Ocean Sushi: A Taste of Japan at Sea

Saying goodbye to the old Internet Café, Makoto Ocean Sushi has landed on Deck 7, bringing the artistry of Chef Makoto Okuwa straight to your plate.

Already a hit on Sun Princess and Star Princess, the restaurant serves authentic Edomae-style sushi in a sleek, modern setting.

Expect dishes like truffle salmon, snow crab temaki, and toro tartare, paired with inventive cocktails such as the Genmai Negroni or Kodai No Hana, a refreshing mix of yuzu juice and ancient Japanese sake.

Crown Grill Steakhouse: The Classic Cruise Favourite

Deck 5 now hosts the award-winning Crown Grill, replacing the former Savoy Dining Room.

Known as one of the “Best Cruise Ship Steakhouses at Sea,” it serves premium aged beef, fresh seafood, and all the indulgence you’d expect from a top-tier steakhouse. The warm, elegant setting and attentive service make it a perfect spot for a special night out onboard.
