Camp Discovery and Beach House Teen Lounge are available for your convenience both during the day and evening, whether it's a sea day or a port day. Additionally, from 10 PM to 1 AM, Princess Cruises provides group babysitting services at the centres for children aged 3-11 for a nominal fee.

Princess Cruises requires guests to adhere to a dress code during formal evenings in their dining venues. This entails women wearing evening gowns, cocktail dresses, or sophisticated pant suits, while men are expected to dress in tuxedos, dark suits or dinner jackets paired with slacks.

Diamond Princess was last majorly refurbished in 2019. Renovations included:

• Installation of 7.1 surround sound digital audio and LED lighting on the pool deck

• Rollout of enhanced wine list

• Upgraded luxury beds in all staterooms

• Enhancements to the Lotus Spa & Fitness Centre

• Refreshed public areas and upgraded décor throughout the ship

The dress code on Diamond Princess is mostly smart-casual, with guests wearing relaxed clothing during the day and slightly more polished outfits in the evenings, such as dresses, skirts, trousers, or collared shirts.

On longer cruises, you’ll also experience Formal Nights, when many guests choose cocktail dresses, evening gowns, or suits.

The Diamond Princess boasts four swimming pools, each offering its own vibe.

Neptune’s Reef & Pool is an outdoor pool on Deck 14, right by the “Movies Under the Stars” screen. Calypso Reef & Pool, also on Deck 14, is indoors with a bright, greenhouse-style roof—perfect for all-weather swimming. The Terrace Pool, tucked at the aft on the Riviera Deck, offers a more private spot to unwind. For adults seeking calm, the Lotus Spa Pool on the Sun Deck is a serene oasis after a spa treatment.
