Welcome 2017

Well that was a mad few weeks, I hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New year. I have had a lovely couple of weeks off spent with Family and friends over the festive period. Christmas for me is always a very busy and manic but happy time. My youngest daughter is still at that exciting age and very much a believer so Christmas is all very magical in the Turner house (I do not look forward to that ending).

I tend to do most of the hosting at Christmas with both side of our families visiting from Christmas eve to Boxing day with me cooking for 11 on Christmas day, as I said always a manic time but i wouldn’t have it any other way.

So once Xmas was over and the content of toys r us was finally put away, we saw the new year in with our closes friends with a relatively quiet gathering over Chinese,  some competitive board games and just a few drinks.

New Year is always a time we use to reflect on our year and 2016 was a fantastic year for us with a trip of a life time being the highlight. We have our health, our family and home what more can we ask for? We are thankful for what 2016 gave us and excited about what 2017 will bring us………..

SO WHAT DOES 2017 HAVE IN STORE FOR US??????

Our year of travelling has already been planned. We have a trip to Holland booked for August to a holiday resort called Duinrell in Wassenaar. Also I will finally be taking my husband and children on their first cruise. We are looking forward to 10 nights to the Canaries on Celebrity eclipse which they are really looking forward to. Lastly whilst away on our Xmas conference I won a place on the Brand new Princess Majestic which launches this year so watch out for my post in March live from their new beautiful ship.

Family wise we are awaiting the arrive of a new niece any day now which are all very excited about, 2017 is going to be a great year.

For now though in the travel world, January and February we are entering  peaks (which some of my colleagues laugh and tell me “im so retails” when i say this) . Cruising and holidays become very busy with fantastic offers throughout the industries and a brilliant time to start planning your travel for 2017.
