My First cruise By Ruby Turner aged 7

My name is Ruby and I have just been on my first cruise holiday with my mummy (Marie) , Daddy and two sisters. We went on the Celebrity Eclipse and I want to tell you all about my favourite parts of our holiday.

I loved trying different foods that I may not have at home, my new favourite meal is Steak, medium-rare. I enjoyed getting dressed up every night to go for dinner our waiter was very kind and remembered that I like a “Shirley Temple ” Cocktail (Sprite and Grenadine). I also loved the buffet because I liked  having pudding before my dinner.

My sisters and I had a great time at the silent disco. We have never been to one before,we had fun dancing and being able to choose the different music but it was weird when we took them off and saw everyone dancing when we couldn’t hear their song, just their singing.

My favourite part of our holiday was going to the fun factory, I made a lots of friends and had so much fun. I went every morning and most evenings. We played games, craft , sang songs and so much more. Here are a few of my favourite things we did.

“Mighty Mighty pirates” We dressed up like pirates, designed our own bandanas, made maps and went on a treasure hunt around the ship. We wanted to make some guests walk the plank but we thought it was probably too cold in the water.

I enjoyed the cookery clubs in the Ocean view café. Me and mummy had so much fun decorating cupcakes and designing pizzas. They were yummy too.

“Goin’ Camping” One evening we went on a camp out we made lanterns, Smores, friendship bracelets, played games and sang camp fire songs. I enjoyed this because it was a family night so mummy and daddy could join in the fun too.

The last day was the best day as we did a big talent show for all the parents I did some gymnastics with my news friends and in the evening mummy said I could stay till midnight for the fun factory slumber party which cost $6 an hour but we had a fantastic time playing games, we designed pillow cases and had a pillow fight!

Our Celebrity cruise was very very busy but we had a great time !!! I cannot wait to go cruising again to see what other adventures I have.
