During my recent trip on the brand new Majestic Princess we managed to fit in a lazy day in Kotor. This was my first time in this beautiful destination and definitely a port to tell you all about.

From the moment we work up I was taken with the view from our Balcony the lush green mountains were stunning, the Fjord like bay surrounded the ship and was just breathtaking. Kotor is a tender port but once on dry land it was such an easy port to enjoy.

The Forified town of Kotor is on the Adriatic coast of Montenegro, Its medieval old town centre is home to a number Romanesque churches, including Kotor Cathedral plus a martime museum. We spent hours wandering around small cobbled streets in the sun with the mountain backdrop, visiting little family run shops offering handmade trinkets and a friendly local charm.

There are plenty of resturants offers an array of easy lunches we enjoyed the most amazing Pizza, chips and beer, outside over look the main square and great value at just 18 euros for us both. Perfect place to sit and watch the world go by.
