Do you like Bread and Butter Pudding ? Holland America may just be the Cruise Line for you
I was an interesting conversation with one of my clients recently about which cruise line’s they had sailed with and who they preferred.
It came up in conversation that my clients weren’t to keen on Holland America Line so naturally I had to ask why, as I believe them to be a good quality cruise line and generally get good feedback about them.
It turns out that when they went on a sailing with Holland America last year they found that when dining in the main restaurant in the evening the only hot pudding available on the menu each and every night was bread and butter pudding.
Now I am not that particularly keen of bread and butter pudding myself, my clients however said that they actually quite like it, unfortunately though not when that is the only hot pudding available for the entirety of the cruise.
My clients said that because of this they would never choose to sail with Holland America again and would prefer to sail with Thomson’s instead.
Has anyone else had an experience like this with Holland America ?
