Cruise Co’s most liked and commented cruise review

I was looking at our site earlier and noticed a cruise review had been listed as not only the most liked but also the most commented on from our site.

I was intrigued as to the contents of the review and decided to have a good read. Well I can certainly say that the review is an interesting read, that’s for sure but is it going a little too far ?

The review was originally published in November 2012 and has since had almost 98000 views and 376 comments.

The review is called “Embarrassing Brits – An Apology.” The reviewer has decided that Royal Caribbean and P&O cruises are ruined by the “dregs of UK society” that book on them and goes on to make comments like “the ghastly sort of cheap and nasty “one-wash-and-bin” clothing sold in such retail outlets as Matalan, Primark and, of course, the cheapskates’ favourite, Asda. The only thing missing to complete the look was a knotted handkerchief; but perhaps on this sailing it was seldom sunny enough…” no wonder the reviewer has managed to ruffle a few feathers.

I think it is good that everyone is allowed their say and their opinion, it is a shame if it offends people though but I guess it is down to individuals to make up their own minds on what they read.

I personally wouldn’t like a bunch of loud, loutish, badly behaved and bad mannered passengers on my cruise but then again I also wouldn’t want to be with stuck up, arrogant, moaning snobs either.

Here is a link to the review, definitely worth a read :-
