Zombie Themed Cruises: Whatever Next…

When it comes to theme cruises we thought we’d seen it all. Gardening, tattoos, rock, golf; there’s an incredible variety of theme cruises for literally anyone… and now, fans of the rotting undead can also celebrate with a cruise! (You can learn a lot more about themed cruises here)

That’s right, January next year will see the Walker Stalker Con (“Walker” being a term used for zombies in the hit show The Walking Dead) join forces with Sixthman, a leading festivals-at-sea organiser, to bring a boatload of zombies and zombie fans to the Caribbean.

For three days the Walker Stalker Con will be sailing between a small handful of beautiful Caribbean ports (we’re going to presume that they’ve taken every precaution to not let the infection spread)

Zombie fans will be chomping at the bit to get tickets to this once-in-a-lifetime event, so make dead sure (see what we did there?) that you’ve booked your cabin ASAP! Otherwise you’ll find yourself with rotten luck.

Departing from Miami the Walker Stalker Cruise will head towards Nassau and the Bahamas aboard the Norwegian Pearl from the 15th to the 18th January 2016.

Actors from The Walking Dead will even be aboard, socialising with fellow passengers, answering Q&A sessions, attending photo ops, autograph sessions and more.

The first 1,000 guests to book will even get a limited-edition lithograph signed by Norman Reedus, one of the show’s more popular actors.

We personally wouldn’t invite the undead onto our ship – we imagine they would become quite unruly when queueing for the buffet…
