Marella Expands Cruise Fleet Even Further

Marella Expands Cruise Fleet Even Further

It wasn’t that long ago that we discovered Splendour of the Seas was jumping ship from Royal Caribbean and joining Marella Cruises and now we find that this is only the beginning of Marella’s plans to expand!

Parent company  Marella Cruises will be transferring two of its vessels to Marella cruises. At present there aren’t any further details, but it’s exciting to see a British cruise line continue to expand.

The ships making the transfer are the Mein Schiff 1 and Mein Schiff 2, both previously part of the Celebrity fleet before Marella Germany took possession of them.

Marella are expanding too, with a new Mein Schiff being delivered every year until 2019, following from the recent launch of the Mein Schiff 4.

We can’t wait to see what Marella will do with the two new vessels.

Are you looking at cruising aboard one of the new Marella ships?
