Shock As Celebrity Jumps On Cunard Cruise To Record New Album

July 15, 2016

It has been reported that a famous celebrity has been spotted on the QM2 recording their brand new album.

Ed Sheeran, the Grammy and Brit award winning singer, was said to have spent a week on a transatlantic sailing on the QM2 writing new material.

It has been said that he stayed in a “cheap” cabin and locked himself away to come up with new songs for his upcoming third album.

The singer was made famous for his hit “Thinking out Loud” back in 2014 and “The A Team” in 2011.

A source told a national newspaper: “Ed turned up at the dock in New York and asked for a cheap cabin, nothing fussy.

“While aboard he requested a meeting room so they found him a basic, windowless crew room in the bowels of the ship. He spent the entire week locked away, writing.”

The famously scruffy singer is known for his laid back dress sense and papers have claimed that he was unable to attend Cunard’s formal events and dinners because of this.

They said: “Ed’s casual dress meant he couldn’t get into any of the fancy dinner areas, not that he cared.

“He was pretty much confined to two informal areas but was very laid back, happy and chatting to everyone.”

Ed’s producer friend Benny Blanco also shared an image of the two of them on-board the QM2 posing Titanic style.

This is not the first time that Cunard has played host to celebrities. In the past the cruise line has seen everyone from Mick Jagger to Elizabeth Taylor, Uma Thurman to Nelson Mandela!
