Quantum of the Seas to feature simulated skydive

Quantum of the Seas to feature simulated skydive

The new cruise liner from Royal Caribbean, Quantum of the Seas, has a huge wealth of leisure activities on board.

Among the highlights passengers will be keen to try out on their journey on board the massive liner is a simulated skydive.

Those who want to have a go on the skydive don their jumpsuits and enter a chamber, from which they enjoy an experience that feels much like skydiving without ever leaving the ship.

The technology, Ripcord by iFly, is effectively a large wind tunnel, but to all intents and purposes it will be completely realistic for those who experience it.

Quantum of the Seas and Anthem of the Seas will both feature the simulated skydive among their range of on board sports and leisure activities and passengers of all ages can take a turn.

Royal Caribbean states that passengers who are brave enough to have a go on the simulated skydive will be able to “enjoy the biggest and most exhilarating thrill of a lifetime”.

Anthem of the Seas will be touring the Mediterranean from Southampton, giving UK cruisers the chance to experience the simulated skydive first-hand.

Would you have a go on the simulated skydive?
