Princess Announce Brand New Ship For 2017

Princess have announced details of their brand new ship, the Majestic Princess.

She is set to be launched in summer 2017 and will be built in Monfalcone Italy. The 143,000 ton vessel will be able to carry 3,560 guests and will cruise to Japan and Korea.

The ship will be a sister ship to the Royal Princess and Regal Princess and will have their distinctive multi story atriums, 28 foot long SeaWalk’s and Chef’s tables. She will similarly serve up cuisine inspired by destinations around the globe, delivering dishes from Italy, France, North and South America and Asia.

Guests will be entertained by an array of international guest entertainers, Las Vegas style productions, music and crafts of exotic cultures and a festival that celebrates dance.

Majestic Princess will also feature some of Princess’ best loved features such as Movies Under The Stars which features the largest outdoor screen at sea and the Princess Water Colour Fantasy fountain and light show where jets of water shoot up 33 feet in the air and are lit up to create a dazzling visual display.

Princess has said that accommodation on-board will be configured to appeal to families and that all outside staterooms will have private balconies.

The ship will have a homeport of Shanghai and cater specifically to the Chinese audience. She will also have the Chinese name on the hull ( 盛世公主号)which translates as “Grand World” or “Grand Spirit.”
