WILL YOU BE BOOKING EARLY ? …

With the news of the big Cruise lines Launching their dates for 2019/2020 last week, it has proved a successful run up to the launch, with lots of interest already coming in…

A lot of Cruise lines offer their best fares when the itineraries first go on sale, as the availability decreases the rates are normally increased. Booking early is fantastic for those who like the selection of a specific cabin and dining. Early bookers are often first to get great upgrade costs and On Board Credit.

People often get quite annoyed when the cruise they booked early has come down in price , but most of the times the cabins that are reduced are the least desirable ones, and you cannot always be selective with extras on board / transfers in ports. If my customers are very flexible on dates and duration and are looking for any deal … the best deal , then I know they are happy to wait and will take any itinerary while getting the best value deal I can find. I have many that have specific preferences such as locations/accessible cabins etc and for these I would not recommend waiting. I have at times been unable to find specifics at the last minute and then they are left without 🙁

The one  time that I do recommend to book early is groups or large families, even solo travellers… there is in my eyes still a shortage on the large family cabins or singles and it is very rare to get these at short notice causing much disappointment to  people looking to get a late summer bargain. Even Interconnecting cabins can be hard to get at short notice.

The launch prices look great, I like the different itineraries and the low deposits, and with the increasing number of ships and facilities, why miss out on experiencing some of the most innovative and exciting features the ships are now adding.

Happy Cruising 🙂
