Back To The Big Easy

Royal Caribbean are going to be returning to New Orleans for 2018-2019 its all part of their new sailings for the Gulf Coast area, it will be the first time in the last 3 years they will have a ship based in New Orleans.

Vision of the sea – Will be based in the city from December 2018 and will have seven itineraries across the Bahamas and Yucatan.

Enchantment of the sea – Will move to Miami to Join Liberty in Galveston for her four/five night sailings.

Royal Caribbean have said it will bring 2 more new options and make easy access from the Gulf Coast especially for adventure seekers and in the region to embark on journeys to  world renowned dive destinations somewhere  for passengers to explore ancient ruins of past civilisations  and discover natural beauty of rainforests which all sounds good to me….

It will be the first time in three years that Royal Caribbean will take journeys through the canal.

Mariner of the sea – will be returning to Miami and she will be the first Voyager-Class ship to offer short Caribbean sailings and again this is a plus and good competition for Carnival Cruises. The three & Four night sailings will be from Port of Miami to the Bahamas and will begin on 21st  June 2018 which will follow a 32 day revitalisation.

Prior to going into dry dock, Mariner will start the Global Odyssey, which is three 13 & 15 night sailings from lovely Singapore to Dubai, then Dubai to Barcelona  and Barcelona to Miami.

So if you have already booked to sail on the Enchantment and sailing from Miami after 23rd June 2018, will be offered the option to transfer to the Mariner of the sea instead.

A brilliant new set of sailings and a chance at long last to go back to some of the brilliant old ones- like New Orleans the Big Easy

Have you been with Royal? let me know your thoughts.
