Okay so last week we made some seriously happy customers, I took a call on Sunday evening late from a chap who said you have sent me an email with a cruise offer which is very frustrating as your company have clearly made an error which is unprofessional.

I asked what email they had received and he suggested the email related to a Royal Caribbean Tailor Made package which was 18 Nights including Miami Las Vegas stays shows and the grand Canyon for £1,299 Per Person.

FYI The Package consisted of the following…

  • 13 night cruise from Southampton transatlantic on the Award winning Royal Caribbean Navigator of The Seas.
  • Cruising from Southampton UK taking in plenty of lazy sea days before arriving in the most visited cities of the United States in order Boston Massachusetts, New York for 2 days and an over night. Orlando then departs in Miami.
  • Private Transfer to a wonderful 4 star Hotel The Art Deco Pestana Hotel on South Beach Miami Florida one Night stay in Miami 
  • Private Transfer to MIA Miami Airport for an American Airlines Flight to Las Vegas The City that never sleeps 
  • Private Transfer to The Stratosphere Hotel Las Vegas resort Casino 3 Night stay (you may know this hotel as the one at the end of the strip with one of the worlds most exhilarating roller coasters on top).
  • Grand Canyon All day tour which by the way was on the customers wife’s bucket list 
  • Tickets to see a spectacular Las Vegas Show 
  • Private Transfer to Airport Las Vegas 
  • Direct Flight To London Gatwick 

 

Its understandable to see where the customer may have assumed an error here isn’t it; 18 Nights of action packed American Value and as much fun as you can shake a stick at.

I had to break it to him… That awkward moment when we both realised together there has been no error we priced it up based on live availability and he chose a different flight home and arrived at a price of £1,378 Per Person.

He couldn’t believe the price and booked the package immediately. I was so pleased for the customer I immediately upgraded them to the Superior room at the Las Vegas hotel to make it extra special.

You could even book a luxurious Transfer in a Limo from the airport for an incredibly low price.

Trans misunderstood

Having personally done a Transatlantic cruise with Royal Caribbean I know the customer is in for a treat but why are they such great value and are Trans cruises misunderstood.

Some people don’t like too many Sea days and they can often occur at times of year when you are not certain of the weather. On a positive if you have the time and are happy to relax on board everything remains open and the costs are so much cheaper as the cruise lines simply do not want to re positional empty.
