Does Regent Explorer have the X Factor

3 nights on the most luxurious ship ever built. Would this give me enough time to figure out if the $10,000 a night suite and all the caviar, lobster and as much champagne you can imagine , lived up to her reputation and worth every penny of the $450 million dollars spent on her.Well on first impressions the answer is yes , here is what myself and my colleague Helen thought when on board….

So what were our first impressions…………………………….

There are 3 speciality dining restaurants on board and are all included in the price. Prime 7, a steakhouse restaurant, Pacific Rim, an Asian inspired restaurant and Chautreuse, a French restaurant. My Favourite had to be Prime 7. This is what we thought …..

We also ate in the speciality restaurant Chartreuse a stunning French Restaurant , I have to be honest the food here is very rich and although lovely I still preferred Prime 7 and the Compass Rose main dining room.., My first experience of snails though……………

Compass Rose was the main dining room serving your dinner on Versace plates. No expense has been spared it seems in this fabulous dining room.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises is transforming its signature restaurant, Compass Rose, into the largest speciality restaurant at sea. This is revolutionising its gourmet dining experience fleet-wide. Read more about this below………….

The decor around the ship is absolutely stunning, this is one of the many lift areas……………

There is an amazing Infinity pool at the back of the ship by the spa and what a wonderful place to relax. It is so quiet here and it feels like your own personal peace of heaven away from the main area of the ship. Only a stones throw away you will find the many saunas the Regent Explorer has to offer. I loved my time here………………………..

There is so much more to regent Explorer that meets the eye, the art work is amazing if you are into art. You can see the amount of thought that has gone into building a ship like this.

I had an absolutely wonderful time on this ship and this isn’t the end of what I have to say, more next week and until then happy cruising……..
