P&O Shock Revelation as they confirm Adonia back for Summer 2017

Adonia 2

P&O Cruise Lines have just released information regarding the comeback of the Adonia to the P&O fleet for June 2017. Itineraries and prices will not be available until early December 2016 however I know there are a lot of P&O loyal customers out there that will love to get back on this adult only small and friendly ship.

We last saw the Adonia going over to the Caribbean in 2015 as part of the Fathom cruise, a cruise line dedicated to volunteer tourism. Guests were taken to help support and teach English and help in building water filtration systems.

However we will now seen the Adonia back in Southampton from June 2017 with itineraries to Europe and the Caribbean. And as you can imagine with this being a small ship (710 passengers and only 30,277 tonnage) I am sure that when this goes on sale most of the itineraries will sell out fast.

When she arrives back she will under go upgrades with a new restaurant (Olly Smith’s “The Glass House”), an outdoor cinema on the Lido deck along with refreshed furnishings giving her a new sense of style but within the P&O way.

As I stated the itineraries will go on sale early December 2016 time and will be selling out fast and more news is expected in the coming months, so watch this space!

Here are just a few of the feedback comments from a couple of customers already. Have you cruised with P&O before but not on the Adonia? Will you be happy to see her back? Should she remain an adult only ship? What are your thoughts? I am sure most customers will be happy to see her back.

  • Great news just loved the Adonia, hope it is going to remain ADULTS only, look forward to sailing with her in 2017.
  • I likes Adonia but don’t think the outdoor cinema is a good idea.
