Service above and beyond

After a recent trip on Regent Seven seas I remembered some of the small things that will stick in my memory as being service above and beyond. The ladies know what it is like when we get dressed for dinner and revert to our “evening” bags which very often do not hold more than a lipstick and your room card !!

So there we are on our way into Prime7 for our evening meal when I realised I had not put my reading glasses into the handbag for the evening. Fear not, on Regent seven seas they have a canteen (only way to describe the box) of reading glasses. Different strengths shapes and sizes, all laid in for you to choose from, what a fantastic idea ?

As you can see this is one of the Beautiful specialty restaurants included in the Regent experience, in the evening this has a great feel about it and you can see into the galley where all the fabulous food is being cooked. The menu has a 32 ounce steak on it , yes that is not a typo, it really is 32 ounces and for that I needed my glasses to make sure !
