Hello Fred Olsen !

Well we are off, finally, after much debating my friend (Donna) and myself are off on a girls weekend with Fred Olsen, this is mostly to celebrate her 50th and a grand excuse for some time to sit and relax. We have decided that as the trip is to Amsterdam Thelma and Louise did not seem appropriate, so from tomorrow we are Inga and Olga ………….me being Inga !!

Not off to a good start when we were informed the boarding time has been delayed due to illness on board, not that we mind, rather get on two hours late than be getting a bug. This just complicated things for the trains as we had advance tickets booked and have now had to re-book the Coventry to Euston section and pay again, this bargain weekend is getting more expensive, but we have to get there and rather pay that than hang around at Harwich port for 5 hours !

Never been on Fred Olsen before so this is a real treat , even though its taking us three trains to get there. Customers are always asking about the port in Harwich and I look forward to sharing my experience with you on my return.

We will be on the Braemar this time tomorrow (trains permitting) this is also the first time I have cruised on such a small ship, so will have lots to share
