Equinox , a special visit to Majorca

After I had booked my little cruise on Equinox in July , I discovered that my daughter had booked her summer holiday in Majorca, and how lucky are our last stop was in Majorca, and to make it even more special it was her birthday 29th of July.

We always have such a problem with this date as my husbands birthday is on the same day. so every year there is a debate about how we can celebrate both together! How nice that we were able to be together on the day, she stayed in Cala d’or which,  to be fair,  was on the other side of the island to where we docked, so the cab cost about 80 euros each way and takes about an hour, we had a lovely late breakfast by the Marina and wandered off into town for a walk and drinks after.

This is my youngest grandson Mason, he will have been just over a year old here

And here is the rest of the crew, look at Mason too bothered with the mobile phone to look at the camera !! how times have changed mine used to be happy with a colouring book and some pens, now they have to take mobiles and Ipads, not that this lasted for long as the food soon arrived and all mobiles were switched off or put away, a bit of a pet hate of mine, I know its all the new way of living and I appreciate that I alone cannot stop technology from pushing into our everyday lives, but when the food is out I draw the line……..

I am hoping in 2018 we can all go on a little med cruise together as I know how much the boys would enjoy it, i just want Mason to be a little bigger so he can go and do some of the activities, he will be three then and just ready for it.

Here is the birthday girl with my eldest grandson, Jayden,
