Carnival Vista, a real treat !

So off we flew to Crete to meet this beautiful new ship, and what a treat, balcony room and over 30 degrees in the warm sunshine !

The sunglasses on the bed if you spotted them was completely unintentional ! we needed them all of the time on this 4 night trip !

Lovely spacious cabins. and some good news for the ladies there is a 240 volt socket and 110 volt , so your straighteners will work !! After the mission on a previous ship this came as a nice surprise, plenty of hanging space, the usual safe, fridge, and as with most cruises now there were no tea/coffee in the rooms, but never fear you can have your cuppa delivered in the morning with room service. The Balcony was a good size , again bigger than some of the newer ships I have been on, it really was too hot to sit for us though, much better by the pools.

This is the main pool area and the slides are at the rear of the ship, this is all free, no extra charges involved, here is where you catch the sky ride as well, for the brave of heart !!

While it may be a sore subject today, just for the footie fans, you CAN watch all the latest games on board, while this bar is dedicated to sport , there are still televisions in quite a few venues for you to keep up to date with the latest , as you can see all sports for all tastes. Sorry about the reflections on the bar picture , this is a row of televisions, bit of glare back I think !

The main dining room , we ate here on our first night, very modern and elegant, the staff were all extremely friendly and very polite, we had some lovely dinner companions and as usual I had steak !!

And out last night in 555 Fahrenheit, the steakhouse, amazing is all I can say , well worth the cover charge, as you can see I am having my usual steak, and I must say followed by a cheesecake  that defeated me ! Yes , I realise that that sounds impossible, but it is true !

Met some really fabulous people , the cruise director is worth a mention , absolutely hysterical, and he is from Birmingham, UK !! The show we went to was very professional , and he sure got the room going, we had missed the show the night before due to dinner running late (our fault not the ship) and all who went were very impressed.

So what do you think so far ?  Me , very impressed and will enjoy telling my customers all about it, if you still have a chance to go on this beautiful new ship while she is still in the Mediterranean, go, I promise you will not be sorry !
