Thompson's Dream Cruises

Epic Cruise

As promised, I’m here with lots of pictures from my cruise on NCL Epic.  I really had a fantastic cruise and Epic is still one of my favourite ships.

Everything is perfect. The crew are helpful and polite, the food is fantastic and the choice huge, the cabins and public areas are clean and bright and there’s always plenty going on to keep everyone entertained.

We sailed from Barcelona to Morocco, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Madeira and Malaga.  The only port we had an excursion pre-booked for was Tenerife where we went up to Mount Teide which was a fantastic experience.  The other ports we just got off the ship and did our own thing.

My cabin was deck 14 on the hump meaning I had a bigger than normal balcony.  We had connecting cabins giving us even more room.

Leaving Barcelona

I did mean to take lots of pictures of the food but kept forgetting but here are the ones I remembered 🙂

The Sushi is well worth the A’la Carte fee (especially when you have an 8 year old that LOVES it)

The best cookies EVER!

Desserts 🙂

And Espresso Martinis (included in the Ultimate Beverage Package)

I managed to take some great pictures when we visited the volcano.  I’d really recommend this trip – the views are spectacular!  We drove up through the clouds to get the best views of the volcano then back down through the clouds again.  To see the change in climate, vegetation and scenery is amazing – from sunshine to (deep, in places) snow in the space of an hour.

And of course, no cruise would be complete without towel animals.

All in all, an absolutely fantastic cruise – NCL will always come highly recommended by me.  Let’s just not talk about the journey back from Gatwick after the cruise, ok?

Let me know if you have any questions or need any info 🙂
