Steve's Full Itinerary

Marco Pierre White

So, I’m back from a wonderful week on the quite beautiful P&O Ventura. I have to say for my first visit on a P&O ship I was very pleasantly surprised and rather impressed. I have to say being a big American fan I have always favoured Royal Caribbean especially as I love going to the states and I did wonder if P&O would be for me maybe too British. I rather liked it. Thumbs up here and I will be booking another sailing again and hopefully not too far in the distant future.

Whilst on board I had decided to try one of their speciality restaurants and the one we booked  was the Marco Pierre White in the White room.

Wow it was delicious. £25pp as surcharge and worth every penny. I enjoyed the excellent service in the Bay Tree Restaurant every evening for my table service but the White room was just something else. I certainly wouldn’t complain about the service but I did notice a big difference in the White room. Was superb.

Food was fantastic and you just knew from the atmosphere and the service from the staff that you were eating in a posh place. Thumbs up again. I would highly recommend everyone who boards a cruise to at least just try a speciality restaurant. Amazing. Marco Pierre White was worth every penny and I will now want to try all the restaurants on all the ships I go on. So if you’re on board or perhaps it’s a special occasion, take a night away from the main dining restaurant and treat yourself to something like Marco Pierre White.

You won’t be disappointed. I actually can’t wait to go back on another P&O ship. I had a fabulous time.

Thinking of trying the Ventura? Then give me a call and I will gladly tell you all about it.
