Stacey of the Seas

I have just heard some interesting news about Royal Caribbean. As you may not know, they have three ships due to come out in the next three years. With a third Oasis-class ship and at least two more from the mysterious Project Sunshine on the horizon, Royal Caribbean International has trademarked six potential ship names.

To all of my lovely customers (and colleagues)

I am FULL of Christmas spirit. The stress is starting to disappear and I’m feeling that fun is on the way! The last part of the puzzle is our tree. We usually have the tree up at the beginning of December but we had a slight problem this year. We have lost it! We moved in the Summer and it looked like it had been thrown out with the rubbish. It’s not the tree that bothered me, but all of the decorations. We collect decorations and I have had some since I was a little baby. Our house looks very bare at the moment, as our Street has really made an effort.

New year, new Costa?

I think we can safely say that Costa Cruises will be wishing for 2012 to be over.  They have had a nightmare year.  I have been in travel for a long time and always seemed to have a steady stream of bookings with them.  This year has been so different.  I think I have taken 2 enquiries for them all year.

It’s beginning to feel a lot like…

It is all starting to get very Christmassy around here.  I have all presents wrapped, cards are written and Santa sacks have been purchased for my children.  I have never really been bothered about Christmas before but this year is extra special.  Millie is at the age where she understands Santa and presents, whereas last year she just looked at all the pretty bows and wrapping paper.  My step-daughters are coming to stay Christmas Eve and we always watch a few films and get ready for Santa coming.  My Mum and I go to midnight mass and sing carols, Ellie (9) has decided that she wants to come this year.  I am thrilled, it is a lovely experience and we always feel such warmth from everyone at Church.  We’ll head home after this and then get to bed, for a few hours at least!

Computer Says No!

I am back!  Have you missed me?  You may have thought I have taken an extended break but I have been here all along!  Unfortunately, my website seems to have been hacked so I have been unable to blog for a while.  You will be glad to hear that the boffins in our IT Department have managed to get me up and running again.  There are still a few issues to be sorted out and everything is in progress.  You may notice that all my pictures have disappeared, we are in the process of putting these all back on.

Let’s make a difference!

We had some very sad news this week at Cruise.co.uk.  We had the news that one of our colleagues Drew had lost his battle with cancer.  Drew was diagnosed with Sarcoma just a year ago.  Sarcoma is a rare cancer that develops in tissues of the body (mostly the limbs).  It is always so much more upsetting when a young person is taken from us, Drew was only 30.

It’s almost time for my holidays…!

Well it looks like summer is well and truly over!  Today has been very windy and miserable.  We have even had flash flood warnings!  I was supposed to be going out this evening to celebrate my friends’ birthday (Happy Birthday Sam!) but glad it was all cancelled so I can get my comfy clothes on and catch up on the soaps.  We will make up for it another night!  We had our penultimate ‘Come Dine With Me’ on Saturday night at Sam’s house.  She held a British themed menu and the food was gorgeous.  We had a lovely soup to start, steaks for the main course and then an amazing custard tart with cooked bananas on the top.  Next up is Kirsty with her Chinese theme!  I will be sad when they are all over.  We will have to start all over again!

Sale Away This Week!

This weekend has been very busy indeed, in home and business life!  We have decided to set a date for our wedding!!!  I can’t reveal the date now as we need to make sure we get the perfect venue but I can say it will be in 2015!  I am so excited to finally be Mrs Simpson.  It seems like a LONG time away now but I am sure it will creep up quickly.  My friends call me ‘Miss Organisation’ so I hope I can live up to my name.  We are going to see the venue next month so please keep your fingers crossed that we get everything all confirmed.  We have got the deposit ready then it’s time to start some serious saving.  No holidays for us until the Honeymoon!
