New York New York – Restaurants

One of the things I love about going to a new city is all the new restaurants you can try!  Now we weren’t super adventurous in the places but we did eat very well.  Here are the places we tried out –

Day One – We arrived in New York at around 4pm so we had something booked to save us looking.  We had a table booked at R Lounge at Two Times Square.  This restaurant is part of the Renaissance Hotel and is right on Times Square.  If you fancy dinner with a view and not pay through the nose, then please try here.  The views are amazing!  The food was good too and the wine lovely.  We spent around $40 each here.

Day Two – We had a full day tour booked so we just grabbed a quick breakfast and coffee at Starbucks.  It was a very cold day so great to have a hot drink.  We got off the tour down at Battery Park and went into the first place we could see.  The temperature was -15 at this stage so we just needed in somewhere fast!  We ended up in TGI Fridays and had some huge burgers which were amazing.  The afternoon was spent touring so we were all shattered at night.  Instead of going out we bought two pizzas and took them back to the hotel.  We had a lovely evening in the room watching Home Alone 2.
