The Ocean Medallion

Well the highly anticipated new technoloy from Princess has finally arrived after a few set backs and delays.

The Medallion Class sailings started in June this year and will be rolled out across the fleet:

So far these are the Medallion class ships:  Caribbean Princess, Regal Princess, Royal Princess
Coming soon to: Crown Princess 24 June, Sky Princess 12 Oct,  Ruby Princess 27 Jan 2020, Grand Princess 29 Mar 2020, The Brand new Enchanted Princess June 2020 then Emerald Princess,, Coral Princess, and Island Princess all in 2020

OceanMedallion™ is available on cruises to: Alaska, Australia & New Zealand, California & Pacific Coast, Canada & New England, Caribbean,  Europe, Mexico and Panama Canal.

So what exactly is it?

The OceanMedallion will replace the key card and is the size of a coin and can be worn in a variety of ways: in a clip, sportsband, bracelet, or pendant.

Whats most exciting is Ocean now will let crew members know where you are when you order a drink, now thats service!!

There will be medallion net where you can access the internet quicker and easier, embarkation will be quicker and easier too, and you will never loose your family friends for you will be able to locate them wherever they are on the ship – might turn that function off lol

But in all, Ocean Medallion is the way forward and should make cruising with Princess cruise even more simpler!!
