Standards on cruise lines

I have been speaking to many customer’s that have just returned off there cruise and that have been very disappointed in the standard of the cruise lines now, first taking the silver service away and now cruise lines have already started or are going to start dropping the formal nights.

myself really liked the formal nights this was something I really enjoyed getting dressed up on an evening and seeing everyone else dressed up in there cocktail dresses and men’s in the full suits I think it looked fantastic on an evening, but are cruise liners going in the wrong direction with these things now and is the whole meaning of cruising not like it used to be, many of my clients have said that they will stop cruising if now the formal nights stop.

What are your thoughts on this do you think the cruise companies are going in the wrong direction or do you think its a good thing that they are doing moving with the times?
