Royal Caribbean Oasis Class Meet For The First Time

Royal Caribbean oasis class all three mega ships met for the first time yesterday; Oasis of the Seas, Allure of the Seas, and their newest ship Harmony of the Seas, came together at Fort Lauderdale,

The three record-breaking sisters which carry together more than 16,000 passengers came together to celebrate the arrival of the Harmony of the Seas and her new home port of Port Everglades, this must have been lovely to see all three ships together.

However, they build these big ships which are fantastic, especially with the facilities that they have but then they move them on to the States, meaning not so many people can visit them.

Harmony snatched the title of largest cruise ship in the world from its elder sister, Allure, when it launched in May by one foot and 1,700 tons.

Harmony of the Seas carries 5,479 passengers and weighs in at 227,000 tons. It debuted in Southampton in May, spent summer in Barcelona and just completed its first Transatlantic crossing yesterday. Many people that I’ve spoke to have said how lovely she is, and that the facilities that she has are amazing.

The only thing now, is that if you want to see her and experience this ship, then you will have to travel to the States.

I haven’t been on Royal Caribbean for a very long time and I really wanted to to one of their ships again, and with all these new ships that they’ve been bringing out, I really wanted to go on them.

Maybe I will have to do a week in Orlando and then a week on the Harmony of the Seas; a good excuse to go now!

Do you think that Royal Caribbean are making their ships too big now? Many customers have said that this is the case, but many really enjoy them.

I do think that you would enjoy one of their ships if you have a family but if you’re a couple, then I think some of their ships are right for you.
