Man overboard

I’ve been off for nearly two weeks and heard while I was off that a man on the Ventura had gone overboard, now do these people jump off ship or do they actually fall as I can’t see how anyone would fall over, my thoughts are with there family and friends and I can’t imagine how they feel at this time.

Many customer’s have commented on how P&O have dealt with the situation and how they kept the customers informed all the time with what was going on, but many I have seen have complained about being woken up in the early hours by the captain (who was just letting them know that they were turning back) if someone really jumped then they must have been really down and not in  a good frame of mind and all others can think about is about being woken up (I’m sure they will catch up on there sleep) but this passengers family will never get over loosing there loved one and will always wonder why it got to this stage that they felt they had to do this.

Once again my thoughts are with there family and well done P&O once again for everything you did for this passenger and how you handled yopur passengers on board and those waiting to travel.
