Summer holidays are nearly here!

Summer holidays are nearly here!

Summer is just round the corner! Don’t panic if you are still to book your cruise holiday, there are still places available but you will need to be quick.Yesterday there was a drizzle of snow on my conservatory roof when I woke! Brrrr I hope it warms up soon.

We all enjoy sunshine and families prefer heading to the sunnier destinations.

Mediterranean cruises are the most popular. Sailing out of the UK is also popular and the number of ships sailing from Southampton has increased over the last few years.

Royal Caribbean have 2 ships sailing out of Southampton and are fantastic for families. Waterparks, ice skating, kids clubs keep them up on top for the school holidays! They are by far the most popular.

Closely followed by P&O who have 3 family friendly ships sailing from Southampton for the summer. The Ventura has the most facilities and massive kids club.

You can also try a fly cruise. You may have to be flexible with dates or airports at this stage. There does tend to be more cabins available on these cruises so definitely worth a look.

If you want to keep the price down or pick up a last minute bargain you can head for the Northern waters.. Scandinavia, Baltic and Norwegian Fjords are a great option.

My daughter starts school in September so I will be joining the school holiday club next year! My plan is to book early for next August.. Probably in the next couple of months. I am waiting for the right deal!

We have decided to book a Royal Caribbean fly cruise for 1 week and maybe with the option to spend a few days before the cruise in Barcelona or Venice. My daughter will love the ship and as long as she is happy, we will also be happy!

Are you still looking for your cruise for this year?

Will you be booking early for next year?

Have you already booked? What are your plans?

Let me know if I can help

Thanks for reading
