More cut backs for BA

iStock_000019304193_LargeBritish Airways have announced they will be adding more seats into their economy cabins in the Boeing 777 service from Gatwick.
By 2018 there will be an additional seat per row making 10 seats. They won’t be adding extra toilets to allow for the additional passengers so it looks like their flight service will become far less comfortable.
BA also decided to stop serving 2 meals on certain long haul routes so this is just another cut back to their loyal passengers.
I can understand they need to stay competitive and want to be able to reduce their prices but one of the reasons people choose to fly with BA is because of the comfort of the flight and the services offered.
I do think it will deter people to use other well known airlines such as Virgin. After all they are still offering the same meals and seat configurations and their in-flight entertainment is one of the best.
Do you think this will deter people from using BA ? What would you do ?
