Boutique Nile River Cruising on Alexander the Great with Discover Egypt

I am sure you may have read from my previous blog that I travelled to Luxor, Egypt last week to experience what Discover Egypt Nile cruises have to offer.

For more details on what I did while I was away and the Discover Egypt brand please look at my previous blog, this blog is really more of a focus on Alexander the Great, Discover Egypt’s 5* Luxury Boutique Nile cruise vessel.

Alexander the Great is Discover Egypt’s top of the range Nile cruise boat, she is designed for the people that would like to experience what Egypt and the Nile has to offer while also experiencing a high quality luxurious level of service and fine dining.

Alexander the Great has only 30 cabins, this vessel originally had 60 cabins but in the search of more space and luxury she was converted to have only 30 larger cabins.

All of the cabins on Alexander the Great are individually furnished, have their own individual name and are 25 square meters in size.

The a la carte restaurant on board Alexander the Great is called Red Fiesta, here is a sample menu and picture of the restaurant.

There are spa treatments available on the boat and all of the public areas including the deck have a premium feel to them.

I have to say that I was impressed with the Royal Viking that I stayed on although I can’t argue that Alexander the Great is a step upwards from that, it is nice to have the option, you can have the Deluxe offerings of the Royal Viking or pay a bit more and really treat yourself with the luxury that Alexander the Great has to offer, either way I think you would be impressed, I was.

If you would like any more information on Discover Egypt or a quote please call me on 0800 408 6095 and I can give you the best advice and information based on my first hand knowledge.
