Dining Options revealed for the Celebrity EDGE

I had an email last week to join a web presentation that will reveal the dining options for the Celebrity EDGE. Naturally i was very keen to find out what the latest innovations were for one of the most talked about Brand New Ships.

The Celebrity EDGE will have more dining and bar options than any other ship in the fleet. Venues include four main dining restaurants, one exclusive restaurant for Suite Class passengers, an exclusive restaurant for Aqua Class passengers, seven specialty restaurants and five complimentary dining venues.

The specialty restaurants include Rooftop Garden Grill –

Rooftop Garden Grill will offer guests the chance to try “backyard barbecue”.

Raw on 5 –

Described as offering a blend of St Tropez and New England seafood.

Eden Restaurant –

Revealed last year, features a lively, open air kitchen and menus. Where “sensory and experiential offerings” will be served by performers known as Edenists.

Fine Cut Steakhouse –

Fine Cut Steakhouse will offer an “upscale dining experience” for dinner.

And finally Dinner on the Edge –

When the cantilevered Magic Carpet platform lines up with deck 16, it will become Al fresco.

Now for the main dining Celebrity has redesigned this for the Celebrity EDGE to now include four complimentary restaurants. Each restaurant will have a distinctive design and ambiance inspired by a specific region of the world. These will include signature dishes which change nightly along with a selection of dishes that “showcase their inspirations”.

Tuscan Restaurant is in honor to Celebrity‘s much-loved Tuscan Grille; guests will be able to choose from Italian-inspired dishes, including freshly made pastas.

Normandie Restaurant is described as a “conceptual cousin” of the line’s French restaurant, Murano, and will be offering French delicacies.

Cyprus Restaurant is a nod to the Mediterranean and Celebrity‘s Greek heritage, designed by Patricia Urquiola.

Cosmopolitan Restaurant will feature new American cuisine at Cosmopolitan, which is already offered on all existing ships in the fleet.

And lastly i couldn’t talk about the dining without mentioning Le Grand Bistro. Using innovative technology, your tabletop is brought to life with Le Petit Chef – an animated character who appears beside your plate and prepares each course you’ll be enjoying right in front of you before you’re served the actual dish. Le Petit Chef will be featured in the evening at Le Grand Bistro.  click here.

The Celebrity EDGE is due to make her debut for guests in November 2018 and shes actually due to arrive in Southampton for a brief stint in May 2019.
