This has been an exhausting week. It’s back to university week which, after three car loads down to Southampton to my daughter’s new house for final year at uni, has left me with many questions;
This is our second child to go through this process of changing accommodation at university every year so we should be experts by now but we still drive along with various strange-shaped items digging in our necks and a careful plan of which car door to open first so we don’t explode our contents onto a service station car park.
My nephew has gone off to work in New York for three months this week. He managed with 23kgs and 10kgs hand luggage!
I think I’ve just realised why my daughter’s favourite family holidays were cruising from the UK and I think I’ve just realised why our car looked like this for those too!!
