Ok, so I’m sorry I mentioned the “C” word but ….Selfridges has opened it’s Christmas shop with ONLY 142 shopping days left till the big day!!
Personally, whilst I’m all for being organised, the thought of buying tinsel and crackers in August is not one I relish. It is hard to get into the festive spirit when not only are there more than 4 months to go, but also it’s hot and it’s summer!! I’m not Australian. I’m used to cold weather and getting dark before 5pm to get me in the mood for Christmas.
Of course, if you want to get away for the holidays, you have to plan early. There are a lot of cruises on sale for December 2015. If you are still dreaming of sailing this year, there are still some fabulous deals to be had but hurry as they are selling fast.
