Greetings cruisers

Me again, hope you are all doing well and enjoying booking and cruising your favourite destinations. So I come to you with news us agents have been telling cruise lines for so many years, why not include the drinks and tips in the full price of the cruise. For so many years this has been falling on deaf ears, it was just so frustrating to offer a price to a customer and then continue with “the gratuities and drinks are extra” this used to put so many people off, all they wanted was a price that included everything, they were not interested in a price and then having to be told the extras.

So it gives me great pleasure to unveil the once cruise line that has now decided to do this……………………………………………….

Norwegian Cruise Lines

Too be fair to them they have always been the one cruise line that implements new ideas, they were the first cruise line to introduce Anytime dining, which is now the first choice of most customers when it comes to choosing their dining times.

They were the first cruise line to introduce other eating areas(with an extra cost of course) but they did it and now all the other major cruise lines offer this.

They were also one of the first to introduce full drinks packages.

So as you can see, they have never been afraid to try other ideas.

Its great for us as agents too, we can offer a price and the customer knows it includes pretty much everything, no dreaded hidden extras.

So well done Norwegian, let’s hope all the other major players do the same. I would be very surprised if they don’t decide to follow suit, they seemed to have copied most other ideas Norwegian have implemented.
