Lets go Greek
Athens, Santorini, Mykanos are some of the beautiful destinations you could visit whilst cruising. So whats so interesting about these destinations I hear you ask.
Well theres the Acropolis in Athens, the cuisine and crisp white buildings in Mykanos and the Boutari winery in Santorini to name just a few.
On visiting Santorini there is a spectacular harbour that is part of the enormous caldera (crater) formed when a volcano blew out the islands centre sometime between 1600 and 1500 B.C. To this day some believe that this phenominum created the myth of the lost continent of Atlantis.
Mykonos, totally white washed organic cubelike buildings fit closely together to form a haphazard maze of narrow alleyways and streets. Along these alleyways are little shops and eateries providing local gifts and cuisines.
Many cruiselines visit these Islands Royal Caribbean and Princess to name a few. Go Greek this year you’ll have the time of your life!!
