Nautical Neil's Life on the Ocean Wave

Icebergs don’t hurt!!

It’s early morning and the ship is sailing along. Your eyes are half closed and your body is recovering from the night before. You open the curtains to reveal a beautiful day with stunning sunshine, the glorious colour of the variety of trees along the shore and then….ICEBERG !!
Your hands start to sweat, you go into a panic and you are franticly looking where you threw your lifejacket after muster drill. Meanwhile you have the sound of Celine Dion in the back of your mind (which is enough to make you go crazy anyway). You move closer to the edge of your balcony in disbelief and then you realise that you are in the melting ice pack edging inch by inch towards one of the most stunning sights I have ever seen. Straight ahead of you is, in my opinion the Eighth wonder of the world, Hubbard Glacier. The ship edges as close to the glacier as possible and with the dulcet tones of a wildlife expert over the tannoy in the background, the ship pirouette 360 degrees so everyone on board can get their memorable photo’s.
