Cruise to New York on QM2

Last Saturday I attended a freinds wedding in the glorious sunshine of Sutton Coldfield.  There were many guests there who I had not seen in a while.  One of the guests was a friend who moved to New York 5 years ago for work.

He had flown from New York on the friday night, stopped over in London and driven upto Birmingham on Saturday morning. He got to the wedding 5 minuites before the Bride!!  I had noty seen this guy for over 15 years (and on chatting alot of things had changed).  On discussing what we do for a living,  I mentioned I worked for cruise.co.uk he was quite interested on different ways of travel from NYC to Britain.  He mentioned the Queen Mary 2 and if he had more time on his hands he would have considered cruising over baring in mind the debarcle that is the British Airways strikes.

He has never cruised before and so, with my vast wealth of knowledge i explained the pro’s and con’s of cruising rather than flying.  It depends on how much time you have as a Trans Alantic crossings are normally 6-7 days depending on the dates.

There are many different dates which Queen Mary 2 does Eastbound and Westbound crossings.  So if you would like to do this crossing and you cannot find any of the departure times then give me a call on 0800 408 6126 and It would be a pleasure to help you.
