Constellation refit…..money making ?

If you read my previous post I will be joining the celebrity Eclipse on Friday for a two night mini cruise to Le Harve in Paris which I am very much looking forward to be going on.  As well as the ship (Which you will have plenty of photo’s soon) there are friend son the same sailing who I have not seen for a while so a good catch up is needed.

On the same theme Celebrity Constellation is currently in dry dock for a few weeks having a spruce up and Celebrity are adding a few more alternative dining options for guests.

Top Deck Burger Bar, located on the pool deck in the space formerly known as the Mast Grill. Here cruisers will be able to order gourmet burgers for an extra fee, like the new-to-the-line Celebrity Signature Burger, an eight-ounce dry-aged Kobe Beef burger with slow roasted pork belly, port salut cheese, arugula, caramelized onions, and roasted garlic aioli, all served on a homemade brioche bun.  Sounds great eh? However how much is the ‘extra fee’ do you think?  It has got to be amazing for a cover charge!

They are also adding Qsine which is a quirky fusion Restaurant which is already on the Solstice class ships.

Celebrity will also add their dinner and movie concept.  A little like Princess’s Movies under he stars.  Passengers are invited to head all the way up to the top deck to take in a unique pairing of small plates and alfresco cinema for $20 per person. Yest another way to get money out of passengers, well I suppose it is a floating business.
