Tis’ the season to be jolly…..Well it is for these inhabitants of Southern Chile. While many people are sitting down and tucking into their 30lb turkey, these cheeky Penguino’s are happily waddling around their colony or feeding themselves the freshest Christmas dinner of Pacific Ocean fish.
 In the port of Punta Arenas I had the opportunity to visit a Penguin colony on Christmas Day which was located about 40 minutes away from the Port by taxi. Four of us drove to the colony and spent a few hours observing and taking pictures of these fascinating birds. See for yourself how quirky they are.
